Since our beginning in 1983, we have planted over 378,000 trees and seedlings across the greater Houston area.

We are on track to plant and grow more than 30,000 trees and seedlings by May 2011.

Arbor Day 2011

Trees For Houston will host its 2011 Arbor Day Planting at Pecan Park in La Porte on Saturday, January 15 from 9am-Noon. Volunteers are needed to help plant 2,011 native trees donated by Chevron and Apache. This reforestation effort guarantees vital environmental improvements to the park and the community. Tree planting demonstrations will be conducted by Trees For Houston staff. Volunteers will be provided with lunch donated by Phoenicia Specialty Foods. Please click here for flyer. If you would like to participate in our Arbor Day Planting, please register with randi@treesforhouston.org.
