Antoine Drive
You may already have noticed the shady characters hanging out along Antoine Drive. Trees For Houston is responsible for attracting one hundred and two of them and the Greater Inwood Partnership invited twenty more of their friends. Ever since the beginning of April these characters have blended into the landscape, but in the fall they will find it impossible to hide because of their orange and red tones.

Fort Bend Toll Road Authority
The Fort Bend County Toll Road Authority and Trees For Houston are working together to sow the seeds of a special community tree-planting effort—the Fort Bend Parkway Beautification Project. This project will enhance current landscaping plans by adding new trees, provided by generous community, business and individual contributions.

Hardy Toll Road Airport Connector Enhancement Project
HNTB’s work on the Hardy Toll Road Airport Connector Enhancement Project consisted of the development of an application for Statewide Transportation Enhancement funds under the STEP-21 call for project released by the Texas Department of Transportation. The project was selected by the Texas Transportation Commission.

Main Street Enhancement
A grant to Trees For Houston from Houston Endowment, Inc. helped plant 390, 65-gallon live oak trees on South Main Street from Kirby to Loop 610 South and 92, 65-gallon bald cypress trees on Old Spanish Train (OST) at South Main.

Driving south along Texas 288 near the Loop 610 interchange, a cluster of slender trees have sprung up, seemingly out of nowhere.
