Street Tree Planting Price List 2008-2009

  • $160 for a 15-gallon tree, approximately 6-8 feet tall, 1 1/2 inch caliper, container grown: includes planting, initial mulching, staking and fertilizing and one time watering at planting.
  • $300 for a 30-gallon tree, approximately 8-12 feet tall, 2 inch caliper, container grown: includes planting, initial mulching, staking and fertilizing and one time watering at planting.
  • $675 for a 65-gallon tree, approximately 14-16 feet tall, 3 inch caliper, container grown: includes planting, initial mulching, staking and fertilizing and one time watering at planting.
  • $1,150 for a 100-gallon tree, approximately 15-18 feet tall, 4 inch caliper, container grown: includes planting, initial mulching, staking and fertilizing and one time watering at planting. (Price may change due to availability)
  • Maintenance (watering) = $ 75 per tree for one year.
Home owners purchasing a tree are responsible for watering and maintaining trees planted in their right-of-way.

Maintenance is only offered for trees purchased and placed in a currently maintained Trees For Houston project location.
