Our Programs
Trees For Houston is the volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in Houston, Texas dedicated to the orderly planting of street trees along Houston's major arterial streets and freeways. Since our incorporation in 1983, we have been responsible for the planting and monitoring of over 214,301 street trees and seedlings.
Currently, Trees For Houston divides our programs and projects into five areas: the Membership Program, the Tribute Program, Neighborhood and Parkway Projects, Reforestation and Education.
