In July 2001, Trees For Houston introduced its newest membership group, the RedBuds, a group of environmentally and community conscious young Houstonians to serve as a donor and volunteer group committed to aiding Trees For Houston in the reforestation of our city’s urban spaces.
For 25 years Trees For Houston has had the privilege of adding trees to Houston’s vital urban forest. Since 1983, we have planted and distributed over 304,416 trees and seedlings along Houston freeways, thoroughfares, residential streets and schools.
