Trees For Houston's Wish List
Trees For Houston has an immediate need for a tractor or skid steer for use in our expanding nursery operations. We will be using the equipment to move, plant and harvest trees and other nursery supplies.
As requests for our trees continue to expand, the cost to move trees from nurseries to planting sites has risen dramatically. Obtaining another trailer will greatly increase our efficiency, reducing time spent hauling trees across the city. By purchasing a larger, heavier trailer, we can cut in half the number of delivery trips we make with the current small trailer.
As requests for our trees continue to expand, we are also in need of a watering trailer to maintain the trees we plant. Making sure the newly planted trees receive enough water during the first few years is critical to their survival. A watering trailer will enable is to more efficiently maintain our trees across the region.
