RedBuds

In July 2001, Trees For Houston created the RedBuds, a group of environmentally and community conscious young Houstonians to serve as a donor and volunteer group committed to aiding Trees For Houston in the reforestation of our city's urban spaces.

September 14, 2011- Membership Drive and Date Auction at Royal Oak.

May 7, 2011- RedBuds Dirty Derby Party at Jackson's Watering Hole. Come out to see how the other 1/2 of Kentucky does Derby. Enjoy Savory Southern Food from Raising Canes, beer and hard lemonade. Entertainment will include music, a temporary tattoo artist, blackjack and prizes.

March 19, 2011- Spring Planting and Happy Hour starting at 9:30am. RedBuds will be planting 68 trees to represent the 68 teams in the NCAA tournament at Weiss Park and a happy hour will follow at Jacksons Watering Hole.

December 1, 2010- Holiday party at Haven.

October 16, 2010- Planting on the Parkway at Tapley Tributary near Sabine Street Bridge from 2-4pm. Join us for beer, food and planting trees!

September 23, 2010- Membership Drive and Date Auction at Gallant Knight.

May 1, 2010- RedBuds Kentucky Derby Party at Belvedere.

March 10, 2010- RedBuds Spring Happy Hour at Taps House of Beers.
