Trees For Houston works reasonably to operate its site without mis-using the intellectual property of others.  If you think that we have inadvertently used your copyrighted, trade-marked, service-marked, or other proprietary content, please write us immediately with the specifics.

Trees For Houston is committed to protecting its users’ privacy. We have reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures designed to safeguard information we collect.   Conducting business online has inherent risks just as using checks and credit cards at stores or by telephone does.  We are careful with your information – not guarantors of your privacy or your data’s security.

When you first register with us, you will be asked for personal data. It is securely kept.  Once registered, you may download pages and register for events  without having to enter your personal information again.

For some functions, you will be asked for additional personal information.  Some of it we must have and some is optional.  We limit our requests for information, and at any point, you may quit the location if it requests data you prefer not to give.

Your information is collected and used primarily for completing your request. In addition, we may use it to contact you for (a) internal surveys; (b) new services; (c)  promotions; and (d) delivering our e-mail newsletter.

We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise dispose of your personal information to third parties. When we in good faith believe that disclosing your information is necessary to comply with the law, of course, we will do it. Much of the information, however, that we collect does not in any way identify an individual. We use this demographic and marketing data to improve our approach to our mission and members’ interests.

Our site has links to other sites. Trees For Houston does not control or monitor practices of other sites at all. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of each web site that you visit.
