Volunteer

Tree plantings provide an opportunity for community involvement and empowerment that improves the quality of life in our neighborhoods. All cultures and ages have an important role to play at a tree planting event. If you are interested in planning a tree planting in your community, email: carolina@treesforhouston.org

We need volunteers like you to help us plant trees, work community outreach events and educate our community about trees. Please click here to set up your volunteer profile. You will be asked for your email address and if you are already a member, sign in and be sure you have selected VOLUNTEER in your preferences. If you have not previously registered, enter your email address and you will be prompted to create a new profile. Be sure to check the VOLUNTEER box. We will then update you via email with all upcoming volunteer opportunities. With your help, we are able to reach out to as many communities, organizations and individuals as possible. The need for green extends far beyond the city proper, so if you don't have a Houston address, don't let that stop you from volunteering! We plant all throughout the greater Houston region.
