Gather with likeminded Buds while beautifying Houston.

about redbuds

In July 2001, we created RedBuds - a group of community and environmentally conscious Houstonians under 40 to serve as a volunteer and advocate group committed to aiding us in the reforestation of our city's urban spaces.

This group of emerging professionals actively supports the work of Trees For Houston through leadership and volunteer service. In return, RedBuds members are exposed to various professional networks, as well as opportunities to learn more about and advocate for a greener, healthier Houston.

We invite you and your friends to join other community-driven young Houstonians as we plant, protect, and promote trees across the region and help preserve and enhance a rich urban canopy for generations to come.
