Donor-Advised Funds

A donor-advised fund (DAF) allows individuals to make charitable contributions and receive an immediate tax deduction of contributions into the fund. The funds are managed by a DAF custodian, and the donor can recommend grants to their preferred nonprofit organizations. Donors can contribute to the fund over time and recommend grants to charities at their discretion, providing flexibility in their giving strategy.

Log in to your donor-advised fund account or contact your fund administrator to submit a grant request. Submit your request to Trees For Houston using our Tax ID#: 76-0046318. A check can be mailed to: Trees For Houston at 1911 W. 34th Street, Houston, TX 77018 or contact us at susy@treesforhouston.org to obtain ACH banking information.

Our Commitment to Our Donors

We will not sell, share or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations. This policy applies to all information received by Trees For Houston, both online and offline, on any Platform (“Platform”, includes the Trees For Houston website and mobile applications), as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications. To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.
